LOSKOT is one of the most important groups in Poland. Its history is strongly connected with the beginning of the phenomenon of "yass scene" which is a socio-musical movement founded in the beginning of the 90-ties in Gdansk. In the beginning the main aim of yass artists was to oppose the rigid monopole of jazz music that existed then in Poland. After the years of transformations, the ideological aim of yass artists evolved to artistic values and LOSKOT became one of the main pillars of the transformation.

LJB is a polish “electric jazz” ensemble founded and led by guitarist and composer Miroslaw ”Carlos” Kaczmarczyk.
