Daniel Carter, S.E. Blumenkrantz, K. Zubek - CHINATOWN Daniel Carter is not an enigma, no more than a teeming forest is. Give some sincerely up for true and you've made a commitment which will last a lifetime, if you've got the mettle for searching unfettered. If the world ever does truly silence for a moment please, the first sounds I would want to hear are the ones that Daniel Carter chooses, because I know that true democracy is deep in his essence. Enterout Trio (Piotr Melech / Adam Wróblewski / Sebastian Grzesiak) - Pink Ivory The Enterout Trio was established in 2007 in Poznan, following the initiative of the clarinetist Piotr Melech, the percussionist Sebastian Grzesiak and the cellist Adam Wróblewski. Each member of the Trio has different musical experience which contributes to the eclectic character of their music. Sebastian Grzesiak and Piotr Melech began their collaboration in the Netherlands taking inspiration from Dutch avant-garde musicians. In Poznan they were joined by Adam Wróblewski, a classical cellist. From the beginning, the Trio's joint explorations were based on improvisation. Elements of jazz, modern and ethnical music combined with experimenting with sound result in an unconventional albeit consistent whole.

Eugene Chadbourne, Andrea Centazzo - German Horse 2CDs box-set ...I went and practiced guitar on the Tiber. A German whore came on to me. Luckily an old man that looked like Raymond Massey trying to be Boris Karloff in the film of Arsenic and Old Lace stole her away from me... (excerpt from album's liner notes by Eugene Chadbourne)

Evan Parker, Alvin Curran, Andrea Centazzo IN REAL TIME It was a magic evening. Not only did the trio burst with a creative energy that was homogeneous and interactive, but the acoustics, usually inadequate, of the half-empty sports pavilion with a capacity of 10,000 people, gave the music an ethereal transparency and crystalline purity that the recording captured and the CD newly presents in all its singular beauty. Gebhard Ullmann - Basement Research Live in Münster few improvising artists can boast the stream of creative ideas that seem to bubble from gebhard ullmann. ullmann focuses on the fundamentals of improvised jazz: melody, sound, syncopation and technical excellence, but what makes his writing and playing so successful is his seemingly never-ending innovative nature: without grasping for neoteric straws, ullmann's performances are grounded in the past but plunge forward deliberately toward modernity. ullmann leaves the strong mark of a disciplined sculptor of sound, who speaks his own compelling language
