Maestro Trytony Enoptronia ... could be at home on every headier release of 70's German improgpsychelectro scene, fueled by lysergic acid. Of course, if done only by guitars, fx' and drums. But fortunately dissonances (or at least that kind of feeling) are omnipresent...

Marcin Oles and Brat Brat Oles feat. Theo Jörgensmann - Miniatures "Miniatures" is beautiful, very tasty album. Doubless it's something more, then improvised music. Many common has with contemporary music. Anyway two songs are arrangemant compositions of Jan Krenz and Artur Malawski. There's in this music outsized air and space. Jorgensmann Clarinet has a exellent sound , brothers play very careful and it is proper to advice.

MORETTI / WIRKUS Na Baterie "For Batteries" is a record of spontaneous improvisation, reaching further then typical beat of drummers. These musicians use soft sounds; they operate with unusual techniques, and pay attention to ambient, atmospheric side of their instruments. What one can find is a lot of whispers, murmurs and vibrations. Once for a while one can feel a bit jazzy, rhythmical passages that creates amazing tension. It can be said that that record brings an unplugged electronic-ambient.

North Quartet (P. Brotzmann, M. Trzaska, P. Friis Nielsen, P. Uuskyla)- Malamute North Quartet of two saxophonists - Peter Brotzmann (Germany) and Mikolaj Trzaska (Poland) - is sharp jazz improvisations. Mikolaj Trzaska turns out to be the most dedicated to realize his artistic visions and probably the most honest representative of the first generation of yass artists. Wild, croaking sound of Brötzmann - once called saxophone's butcher - still maintains its virulence.

NOVI SINGERS sing Bacharach There is this epidemic of labeling, everybody labels everybody - seems some people can't sleep at night without having everything neatly classified. I don't give a damn if somebody says I sing church music, and somebody says it's military marches and somebody says it's nursery rhymes, and somebody else wonders if it's jazz. (...) I don't care what it's going to get called, I just want it to be good." (Bernard Kafka of the Novi Singers)

NOVI SINGERS Rien Ne Va Plus Above all we found the human voice to be a perfect jazz instrument and that the possibilities in sound, expression and interpretation were unlimited. We knew that there was still much to be done in the field we had chosen and so we decided to become real improvisers: to create music while singing. We resigned from lyrics, and began to scat. Texts are self-determining and make improvisation difficult, while we want our music to be spontaneous, fresh and full of improvising expression and rhythmic dynamism that belongs to afro-rooted music.
