About:
The biggest mystery of Warlikowski's theater is remarkable ambivalence of good and evil. Portentous beauty, as Prospero says, commenting on the acts of Ariel, is a great temptation, evil charm, water and the temptation to quibble, it is beautiful and sophisticated. The good is unattractive, and unspectacular. There is no chance to win the popularity ranking, which is a measure of the new world. Moreover, even when winning, is usually already too late for anything. These victories are needed only a very few. Evil, and so continue to meet its full harvest of glitter. Splendor is a good quiet and humble. The Tempest raises questions about the value of virtue and restores the rank of guilt.
