Katarzyna (Kasia) Stankowska is a winner of several prestigious jazz vocal competitions in Poland, including Jazz at the Odra River (2000) and Jazz Vocalists Festival in Zamosc (2001). Even though she is a relatively new face on Polish Jazz map, she's already established herself as one of the most interesting young artists.

When she sings, Kasia is a master of scat, but she is also known for her harmonically unique interpretations of American jazz standards as well as for her own compositions sang in Polish language. She has been especially admired for her improvisations skills, which beside building a devoted fan base in Poland, has awarded her constant high standings in annual rankings by one of the most prestigious jazz magazines in Poland and Europe - "Jazz Forum".

At the present time Kasia divides her multi- talents among studding jazz piano at the Academy of Music in Katowice,  lead singer position with legendary Aleksander Mazur Big-Band, and being a leader of her own quartet.
